Chapel of Corpus Christi

This chapel, standing in the immediate vicinity of the Church of St. Barbara, was to serve as a two-storey cemetery chapel with an ossuary.

Originally the lower floor was to be used for the burial of bones and the upper floor was to be a chapel where masses for the dead would be celebrated, but presumably this second floor was never completed as it lost importance as the construction of the cathedral progressed.

The chapel was founded along with the cemetery, which was probably on the site of the present-day Gask.
